TransferOkay Terms of ServiceEffective date: 31.03.2026
1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms govern the provision of passenger transportation services by TransferOkay within the territory of the Czech Republic.1.2. By placing an order, the User confirms that they have read and agree to these Terms.1.3. The Company reserves the right to update these Terms. The new version becomes effective from the date of publication on the website and does not apply retroactively to already confirmed bookings, unless otherwise required by law.1.4. These Terms apply subject to mandatory provisions of Czech and EU consumer protection law.
2. Booking
2.1. Orders can be placed via the website, by phone, or through other available communication channels.2.2. The User must provide accurate details: date/time, pickup address, route, number of passengers, luggage, and contact information.2.3. The Company may refuse or cancel an order in case of inaccurate/incomplete information, inability to provide the service, or violation of these Terms.
3. Rights and Obligations of the Parties
3.1. The Company undertakes to:
provide a vehicle and driver suitable for the service;perform the transportation under agreed conditions, except in cases of force majeure;provide waiting time for the passenger:at the airport: up to 50 minutes after the actual flight arrival;at an address/hotel: up to 15 minutes from the agreed time.
3.2. The User undertakes to:
notify in advance of any changes to the booking (preferably no later than 24 hours in advance);comply with safety rules and lawful behavior;compensate for proven damage caused to the Company’s property due to the User’s fault.
3.3. The following are prohibited in the vehicle:
smoking;consuming alcohol;any actions that endanger the driver, passengers, or property.4. Liability
4.1. The Company is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control (traffic, weather conditions, road restrictions, actions of third parties, force majeure), but will take reasonable measures to minimize the impact.4.2. The Company’s liability is not excluded or limited where such limitation is prohibited by law.4.3. Forgotten items: the Company does not guarantee their safekeeping but will assist in returning found items where possible. To search for lost items, the User should contact the details provided in Section 12.
5. Payment
5.1. The service price is determined at the time of booking according to current rates.5.2. Available payment methods: cash, bank card, online payment.5.3. Online payments are processed by a payment provider (including Stripe). The Company does not store full bank card details.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
6.1. Free cancellation: no later than 24 hours before the trip time.6.2. In case of cancellation less than 24 hours before the trip, the Company may charge up to 100% of the booking price, unless otherwise required by mandatory law or specific circumstances.6.3. If the service is not provided due to the Company’s fault, the User is entitled to a full or proportional refund.6.4. Refunds, if applicable, are made using the same payment method, where technically possible, usually within 7–14 business days.
7. Consumer Right of Withdrawal
7.1. For passenger transport services provided on a specific date/time, the 14-day withdrawal right may be limited or not applicable in accordance with Czech and EU law.7.2. In any case, the cancellation rules set out in Section 6 apply, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
8. Route Changes
8.1. Changes to the route or schedule are possible upon prior agreement with the Company.8.2. Route changes may affect the final service price.
9. Personal Data (GDPR)
9.1. The Company processes personal data in accordance with GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679) and applicable Czech legislation.9.2. Categories of data: name, phone number, email, route addresses, trip time, booking details, and service interaction data.9.3. Purpose of processing: order handling/fulfillment, customer support, payments, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal obligations.9.4. Legal basis: contract performance, legitimate interest, legal obligation, and, where applicable, consent.9.5. Data may be shared with processors/partners necessary for service provision (CRM, payment provider, hosting, messaging services), strictly within the purpose of processing.9.6. The User has the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and transfer data, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.9.7. Further details are also set out in the Privacy Policy.
10. Force Majeure
10.1. The parties are released from liability for failure or improper performance of obligations due to force majeure circumstances (natural disasters, war, strikes, accidents, government decisions, etc.).
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1. The parties shall attempt to resolve disputes through negotiations.11.2. If no agreement is reached, the dispute shall be resolved by the competent court under Czech law, without limiting mandatory consumer rights, at the place of the Company’s registration.
